Starting at the young age of 17 Misty has been photographing weddings for over nearly 30 years. Her team currently shoots on average of 50-75 weddings a year photographing over 1,700 weddings to date. Misty books up to two years in advance.
Misty was born in Nebraska but raised here in the Sunshine State of Florida where her parents were both born and raised. Misty is a foster and adoptive mom. She has 6 children and a rescue dog named Bella and lives just outside of Orlando in the small town of St Cloud.
She has won many awards and accolades over the years including being voted Best Photographer in Central Florida by Wesh 2 A-List, being inducted into the Knot "Best of Weddings" Hall of Fame in 2015 and having won the Wedding Wire Couples choice awards every year consecutively since 2011 when the competition first started.
From lavish celebrity events to small intimate destination weddings Misty has had the privilege of photographing special occasions both big and small all over the world. Her work has been published both nationally and internationally and can be seen in magazines and on popular wedding blogs all across the globe.
Misty is also an educator and ran one of the largest photography groups in Florida for several years with over 1,000 members and has also taught photography workshops all over the Country. In addition to her technical knowledge of photography she is also considered a posing master and has spent over 20 years studying the art of posing and human interaction and brings that knowledge and experience with her into every session always working with each client to help them look and feel their best during their photo session.

Lastly, In addition to being a full time wedding photographer, Misty is also passionate about helping and supporting foster youth in her community and is the Founder and Director of two Non-Profits the first being the Heart Gallery of Central Florida and the second Foster Youth of America.
